GoVitaMed Telehealth Hub Refund Policy
Effective date: 12/22/2025
At GoVitaMed, we aim to provide a seamless, patient-first telehealth experience. If something doesn't go as expected, this refund policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund and how to request one.
What is refundable
- Canceled appointments (advance notice): Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit for a full refund.
- Technical issues caused by us: If a visit cannot be completed due to a verified platform or provider technical failure and we cannot promptly rebook, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Duplicate charges: Any accidental duplicate or erroneous charges will be fully refunded.
- Subscription/membership plans: Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if no visit or billable service has been used; otherwise, unused future months can be canceled with no further charges.
What is not refundable
- Completed consultations: Fees for completed telehealth visits are non-refundable.
- No-shows/late arrivals: Missing an appointment or arriving more than 10 minutes late without prior notice may incur a no-show fee up to the full visit cost.
- Professional services and prescriptions: Clinical evaluations, medical advice, prescription fees, and labs already ordered or processed are non-refundable.
- Digital products and downloads: Educational materials or programs delivered immediately upon purchase are non-refundable once accessed.
- Third-party fees: Charges from pharmacies, labs, or insurers are outside our control and not refundable by GoVitaMed.
Rescheduling
- You may reschedule once at no charge if requested at least 24 hours in advance.
- Rescheduling within 24 hours may incur a late change fee.
How to request a refund
- Email: support@govitamed.com or use the in-app Help > Billing option.
- Include: full name, date of birth, appointment date/time, order/receipt number, reason for the request, and any supporting screenshots.
- Timing: We typically review requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (bank timelines may vary).
Insurance and HSA/FSA
- If you used insurance, refunds may be limited to your out-of-pocket amount after claim adjudication.
- HSA/FSA payments can only be refunded to the original HSA/FSA card, subject to plan rules.
Chargebacks
Please contact us first to resolve any billing concerns. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension.
Special circumstances
Compassionate exceptions (e.g., medical emergencies) are considered case-by-case. Please provide documentation if available.
Policy updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or applicable regulations. The Effective Date will be revised accordingly.
